Fillers or Botox … or both? Dermal fillers and Botox are TOTALLY different types of injectables, and it can be confusing figuring out which one you need. Botox is fab for treating wrinkles, especially between the eyes and on the forehead. This neurotoxin “freezes” muscles that cause unwanted wrinkling, with results that last around six months. However, Botox doesn’t provide volume–and volume can also be a great way to reduce wrinkles and turn back the clock. Dermal fillers are usually made of HA, which means results are immediate. And you can use fillers anywhere on the face and even the tops of the hands to restore or build volume. Many clients combine Botox and fillers for the best outcome!
